- If you did not get something back that you had bought for farm cash, CONTACT SUPPORT!
After the fix, I still hadn't gotten everything back so I contacted support again yesterday, and got a reply today:

We have resolved this week's technical issues that caused you to experience some or all of the following symptoms: white screens, loading issues, Out of Sync errors when placing and removing animals from buildings, loss of animals and loss of building components.
It is now safe for you to play on your farm and interact with your animal buildings and storage buildings without losing items.
I have credited you three Belted Cows. You can find these in your Gift Box.

Hello again. I've heard the issue of missing animals has been fixed and most animals returned, and I did get back a bunch of Nursery animals and building materials, but I never got back the 3 belted cows I was most worried about.
I'm also wondering what I should tell my community of followers for my blog who didn't get certain animals back? Should I have them all contact support?

Due to some current bugs, animals and more are being lost from people's farms!
I had this happen to me too (my most crushing blow: 3 belted cows), so I emailed Zynga (spoiler, no fix yet but you are welcome to try). Their fix did not work for me. I responded back to this thanking them, even though they obviously used a form email (notice how they say something about treasure isle), and wishing them luck in their attempts to fix it server side. Back to the waiting game!
Tips
- Don't interact with the coop, stable, dairy, or nursery until they fix this as you might lose (more) of your animals. In fact, you're best off leaving them right where they are and not moving them around at all as we don't know the cause of this problem.
- Also avoid building new constructible buildings! Adding parts may not be recognized. Zynga forum official post.

After today's 'enhanced' I reloaded and put 3 of my belted cows into the dairy to harvest them at one time. Then it went out of sync and now those cows are gone. I'm also missing about 10 items I was given for my nursery barn. I'm not terribly worried about the nursery, but I would love to have the belted cows or the 3 million coins, that I saved up for a month to buy them with, added back to my account.
I also am admin of Farmville.wonderhowto.com and would like to know what I should suggest to my fans who had similar losses?

I am sorry to hear that your Cows have disappeared, Katie. Thank you very much for reporting this to me. We have been receiving reports about this same issue. We will be forwarding this to the game developers for review. It would help greatly if you could try these troubleshooting for me and let me know if there has been any change.
There are a few simple solutions that you can try that may help to resolve your issue if it is not due to an error on our end. As you may know already, our developers are constantly improving and enhancing Treasure Isle.
Occasionally, Katie, the solution is as simple as clearing your browser and your flash cache. Clearing your cache is important so that your game does not run using old information. Please refer tohttp://zynga.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/49 for an explanation on what cache is and why you should clean it.
1. How to clear cache:

2. How to clear flash cache:
- Go to http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager07.html
- Select the "Delete all sites" button. This will clear old information that your computer may be storing
3. How to do a full refresh of my browser:
- Hold down the CTRL key and press the F5 button at the same time

I've cleared my caches and refreshed everything multiple times to no avail.
My friends are all having the same problem. I do realize you are working on
this and I hope everyone gets their items back. Thanks for trying and good

By the way, your form email had a reference to treasure isle in it that you
forgot to take out. ;)

Zynga is a very nice company, they are working hard on our issues and want us to be happy. Computer programming is HARD, especially with the different platforms, servers, countries, etc that they serve. I want my stuff back as much as you guys do, so we'll see what happens! :)
